A leaked source said that the iPhone 13 series will have a larger battery than the iPhone 12, and all four models seem to have increased battery capacity compared to previous models of the same size.
According to AppleInsider, it looks like one of the benefits of the next generation of iPhones will be longer battery life. Apple is said to be preparing three larger capacity batteries for use in the iPhone 13 series, with three different capacity levels higher than the current iPhone 12 series.
Posted by Chinese social media, the source said that the three devices with model numbers A2653, A2656 and A2660 will have three different battery capacities. These model numbers may be related to the iPhone model itself.
The three battery capacities are listed as 2,406 mAh, 3,095 mAh, and 4,352 mAh. When compared to comparable models, the 2,406 mAh is a step up from the 2,227 mAh found on the iPhone 12 mini, the 4,352 mAh is a big jump from the 3,687 mAh found on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the 3,095 mAh is an improvement over the comparable models. 2,815 mAh battery is available on iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.
While the rumors seem plausible, there’s no guarantee that the leak is accurate until Apple releases a new product this fall.
